It is the second time that Northwest University has undertaken the local Chinese language teachers training program of CLEC. It is also the second cooperation between Northwest University and the AFPC after 18 French Chinese teachers came to Xi'an in 2019.

The training class was mainly composed of senior teachers from the School of International Education and the Art School of Northwest University. Experts and scholars in the field of Chinese international education from Beijing Language and Culture University and Capital Normal University were invited to give lectures.

The courses cover the teaching of Chinese characters, grammar and vocabulary, teaching plan design and classroom activities, as well as lectures on literature and culture.

The project will be carried out in two phases, with more than 80 Chinese teachers from French universities, middle schools and primary schools participating in the training.
